I beg to disagree! I love to shoot with Pat - he ignores all the published wisdom and gets a single simple springer to perform classical markmanship.

This month's Airgunner tells HFT wannabees how to lower the butt plate and bury it in the ground to lock on for a solid shot. Ever seen Pat do that? With a boinger?

Long live the Hat and old techniques that work.
