    confused

    Just bought a lovely air arms sm100 .177 in mint condition.
    I know it's a mk 1 because it has a silver coloured breech block and muzzle. However it has me confused; it has a walnut thumbhole stock with adjustable butt pad.
    To the best of my knowledge the sm100 came with a beech sporter stock whereas it was the xm100 came with a walnut stock.
    So which have I bought; any ideas.

    Above rifle came with a period gloss black scope and mounts; a fontaine 4x40wa; it gives a nice bright image.

    Was wondering if any of you more knowledgeable guys could tell me anything about these scopes.
