A rather wet and windy day at Kibby today
Thanks to the hardy people that braved the weather to take part, A few members chose to sit in the shed rather that compete and one even locked his keys in his car what an excuse not to shootBob Glad you got it sorted Also thanks for Gary Chill for taking the time to come up and try the Marksman, was good shooting with you mate.

A few people don't seem to have handed their scorecards in at the end of the day. If You forgot to hand it in let me know your scores and I will add them.

Yay I beat Anne bet that won't happen again ever. Must of been a off day for you.

Cracking course Rob, Greg and Co.

And I got my nemesis that rabbit that looks like you could not pass a pellet through it with your hands (only took me 10 months of trying).

yes... some scores missing. They were written on the paper you recorded Anne's score on and on the 'late' cards handed in after lunch...

    Neil Price 45 Open
    Phil Russell 40 Open
Tim ?? sorry can't remember (senior moment) 33

Very enjoyable course today. Still not sure why everyone in our group of 4 shot so poorly ....

    Cheers, Phil

    Kibby Marksmen

Great day and a great course I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Many thanks to Bruce and Andrea for my lift, at least I got a lift back and didn't have to walk.

    Soggy but fun!

Great time this morning and a challenging course well set Greg, Rob and Co, nearly bottled it in the car park when the heavens opened but decided to stick it out only to find some fool had not packed the waterproof tops!!!! Thanks to Telford and Tom? for the loan of wet weather gear, as usual shocking scores for me and the youth but big grins a plenty. Tom well chuffed to finaly take down the spider web especially when I went and plated it!

Should have waited to let the weather clear up a bit....

Started at peg one and the rain was lashing down and a real L to R wind. By the time we got to peg 8 our group of four was scoring in binary code and we had a total of two kills between us.

I think Tim who was with us learned some new technical shooting vocabulary from Anne (Batfink), one of the words had two L's and an X in it and I can't spell...

Enjoyable shoot though and a very 'interesting' course.

Joined Team Goss and Telford, Thanks for the flak and good company Gents

Phil Russell's nether region ventilator system must have worked as there were no complaints of overheated components

I'll have you know all of those words are in the dictionary.

I just chose to use the Anglo Saxon spellings.

I think its fair to say that the weather was about on par with whatever obverse cosmological parradox decided to latch onto our poor bewildered group.
Rest of country reclines in bright warm sunshine.
Kibworth hit by torrential rain cloud last seen annoying a trawler on the North Atlantic coast.

Our shoot was like a cross between Quantum Leap and Stargate. I know I fired a pellet, I just don't know where it went after I pulled the trigger.
Somewhere in 1550BC Jericho is a terribly confused peasant trying to work out why the skies are raining little lead drops on him......

Blimey, how bad could it be next time?!?!

I think the fact that I am here proves re-incarnation does work....

what do you mean...IN THE PAST!!
He who dies with the most toys wins. Flying, shooting, fishing and sports cars, what more could a man want.
