FWB 124 VALUATION please. Bit special?

So i've come to the professionals to seek some knowledge. In my collection i have a fwb sport mk1. its 177 tuned by v-mach and running at 11.7. Fired 4 pellets since total rebuild. Complete re-blue, engraved trigger guard and tune up...this is the bit you make like? ser no. 17738. Whats it worth in todays market? as i may sell due to my growing webley venom collection.

Many thanks for the help and advice.

    Kind Regards
    Mach 1.5

I've seen and held this gun - its beautiful!

The rebluing is excellent and I don't believe it should detract from the value - its not like e.g an Airsporter where the etching is lost.

I'd love to say its worth a £100 and hope to be first to the button when it comes on sale, but I suspect it will be somewhat more than that!!!!!!
    Happy Shooting!! Paul.

I sold a vgc tuned (but not V-Mac tuned) FWB 124 fitted with a Theoben mod for £275 plus post a while back, so as this is a V-Mac, although very difficult to value without photos, I would say the above sounds as if it should be worth around the £300/325 mark (plus post) all day long.

Just seen and shot this today and its absolutely beautiful!
Metal work is a deep rich Black, complete with open sights, all writing is still visible, engraving is a nice touch too, if it was a tad heavier for me I would have walked away with it today

Top guy to deal with, and a very lucky man to own that Mach 1.5 WOW!!!

(By the way its fired 6 Pellets now)

    All the Best

A mint in box or not FWB Sport is worth £250 give or take. So give us some reason why its worth more. Picture

Like all these valuations without a picture who knows? Valuations without pictures, or links to them, should be banned as its a waste of everyones time.

    ooops!
    Have amended my post.

Meant with the best of intentions, just wanted to say what a nice rifle this was, as i said if it was heavier, he wouldn't be needing a valuation as I would have probably gone home with it.

I wouldn't have questioned if he had asked £300 for it, shoots and looks lovely.

    OUCH
Opportunity is missed by most people, because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

    dave,

    I would agree - £200 - £ 250 in the current market, I paid £ 180 (for my mint Mk 1 .22 and I do mean mint) 4 years ago.

    Hope this helps
