    Scope ID

A buddy of mine picked up a scope from a boot sale yesterday.
About 12 inches long and very narrow.
Bronze in colour and marked Diana x 3"
No turrets to adjust, presume it has tp use adjustable mounts.
I'm sure this has no commercial valuve, just interested in it's origin.
I'm away from home now so can't load any pics.

Phil if it looks like this one then it sounds like it has lost its mounting/adjustment cradle. I think it's a Milbro scope, made during the 50s, 60s or 70s?

Well done Gavin, that's the one. Just a shame the one I have has no mount.

BSA marketed a scope with adjustments on the mount for the BSA Merlin air rifle, it too was a 3x scope. Were they the same scope, just marketed by different companies?
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.
