Do you hunt in Germany? Can you use airguns there?

I was in Switzeland last week and surprised how few rabbits I saw.

I don't hunt, but sometimes I go fishing.
In Germany, hunting is an real occupation and you have to pass an education (round about 4 jears).
You can use airguns at the clubs up to 7,5 Joules without a license to carry a weapon. A few years ago, I was shooting airguns and small caliber rifles at the club.

You saw rabbits in Switzerland? I can't remember ever seen a rabbit in Switzerland or Germany, but I was suprised, how many rabbits I saw in england.

I was staying near Sion, but I can't remember where we saw the rabbit as I was driving at the time, maybe it was an illusion.
I have 4 children and could not believe how much noise they make just walking around - I spot more wildlife when I'm on my own!
