Bump........
1) How does the Nikko Sterling Gold Crown 4-12x42 compare to a Simmons Pro-Air 4-12x42?
2) Would medium height mounts from Sportsmatch, Pro Mounts and BKL suffice on a S400 assuming the scopes objective lens diameter is no greater than 42mm?
3) Same as Q2 but for a S410.
Thank you.

Bump........
Sorry, but I have no first hand knowledge of the scopes mentioned.
However .... I can tell you that I successfully mounted a Deben Nite-Eye 3-12 x 50 on an S400 using low mounts Even so there was almost enough clearance to put the standard lens covers on properly

Should think so,same as D-Harry no experience with scopes you mention but have a Simmons 3-9x50 on low mounts on an AA400
I've had both scopes Rustam, the Simmons has the edge, but only just. If I was to buy one of them again, I get the Nikko as the Simmons is almost treble the price but only 10-15% better.
Many thanks for your replies.
