    Anschutz 8001

Does anyone have a current Anschutz 8001 Target rifle.

If so, can you tell me if the cocking lever is pulls out and back on the right of the rifle. I have been looking at their catalogue and also downloaded the instruction manual but it does not give this information.

I am in the process of trying to decide between an Anschutz, Feinwerkbau and Walther target rifle to buy for 10m indoor shooting and trying to get as much information together before making a visit to a shop, particularly as no one shop seems to stock them all for me to try.

    Many thanks

    Dave

Yes action is the same cocking lever supplied on the right hinged at the rear.
Two screws on the hinge and pin plus circlip on the bolt to swap right to left hooker.
    Smaller cylinder and cheaper stock.
