Whilst having a "sort out" of my break barrels I came across these two which share very simular breech lock up's & wondered who copied who...?
The first is a German made Falke Model 70.
The second is a Polish made Predom Lucznik.
The Predom has machined scope rails & better rearsight so I would say this makes it later..but the barrel lockups are almost identicle.Size wise they are both almost the same too,& the .177 Cal..thought you might like to see them side by side...pics to follow from good guy Neil.
Hope you fellow anoracks find them interesting..as they will both be coming up for sale in the near future...as i'm "De-cluttering"..I will start a new sales thread of coarse!
Any info you can share with me on this subject...most welcome.
YOU ARE DA MAN....thanks Neil..great service & appreciated by me & all other wrinkly old cuss's who can't do "techno stuff"..
They both stole the breech lock up from Haenel, which used it on the pre-WW2 mod 1 rifle.
Not sure who Haenel pinched it from in the first place.

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
