    s410 action removal

    just started oiling my stock and it'd b a whole lot easier if the action wasnt in the way Can any one tell me how to remove the cylinder and action and if i need to dump all the air first?

    There's a large allen bolt underneath, between the trigger guard and the air pressure gauge. Just undo it carefully and it should all pop out fairly smoothly.

    just undo the allan bolts, 2 from your trigger guard and one under the stock......nimpse.

    Unless the S410 is much differant from the S400 you dont need to remove the 2 bolts from the trigger guard just the 1 from under the stock.

    You don't even need to remove the trigger guard, the stock should slide out over it.

    cheers guys 1 more thing while im here can i remove the barrel without with air in the cylinder safely? ive got a hunch its not quite straight?!?!?!

    yep, i was confused with my TX re the action screws.
    dont mess around with taking barrels off, it may well be the figure 8 bracket at the front of the barrel that has twisted. Undo slightly with a small allan key and it may well spring back into line.

    Remove the filler cover first though, that can hold the bracket off centre when you undo the Allem screws if it's tight.

    i would really recomend taking the action out of the stock as often as you can to oil the lower side of the cylinder as water can sit here and cause loads of damage
