    Air Pistol Clubs in Birmingham

I'm wanting to take up air pistol shooting after a break of about 20 years or so. Can anyone tell me what clubs in and around Birmingham would be best for 10m air pistol?

I use NSRA at Aldersley (Wolverhampton)

    ATB

    Phil
    AAS200T.177 & S510SL .177. FWB P70(diopter), P70 FT(Big Nikko) Steyr LP10, LG110(Big Nikko), LG20(diopter) . The gun is deadly accurate - shame about the user

Thanks Phil, I might try Aldersley if I can't find any in Birmingham itself. It's not too far away.

Do you have to fill an application in, or can you just turn up on the night?

    Cheers

Thanks I've checked the Sutton website and it looks promising. I quite fancy trying the 20 yard pistol as well.

Garry, I think you have to get in touch and fill a form in first; see here: http://www.scrapclub.org.uk/member.html

    Pistol Clubs Birmingham

    Kenny/Garry,

You can show up at the range on any friday at 7pm without filling any application form. I guess you can first see the atmosphere before officially joining. Feel free to bring in your pistol or alternatively air pistols and full training can be provided.

If you do need some directions then letme know as the Club is not sign posted.

For Sutton Coldfield, phone the secretary (he is very amiable and approachable) and bring the completed application form together with some photo ID such as a passport when you visit. PM me if you need any more details. The range needs a lot of work and finances to bring it up to modern standards but it is one of the last clubs remaining in the area. There used to be clubs all around the Birmingham area but most of them are now gone, sadly.
