What pellets are you using as i have tried all the .25 pellets and there is only one that works in my rifle.

    AirArms S510 in 25

My S510 extra also has a stunning stock as well, better than on my other rifles and shotguns, used some oil from www.vintagrguns.co.uk and the stock came up with a beuatifull finish, still trying to get real accuracey, AirArms field plus are good but Exacts standards have the edge but not the power, any others out there had the same. The action on the 510s are great, and the finish superb, fitted a sling on mine, now ready for the squirrells which are everywhere at present. deerwarden.

Up to 30 or so ft lb the H & N FTT should be fine. My Rapid -now sold -is running at 48 ft lb and is best with the31 grain Baracudas

This AA S510 looks very good and 50 shots at 40 ft lb is an excellent result. I would like to know the charging details and how the power varies from the 1st to the 50th shot. Is this rifle regulated? As far as I was aware Air Arms don't offer high power regulated rifles so I assume not.

As for the twin cylinder jobby- sorry but it is truly AWFUL!! What is the point? You really don't need 80 shots on a hunting rifle so why carry that much extra weight around? I'm sure the balance is OK but not the extra weight.

My Rapid-which I sold last week had a fast flow and ran at 50 ft lb down to 45 over 36 shots with a 400cc bottle charged to 220BAR via a quickfill.. That I found perfectly adequate for hunting. I only sold it because I found I reached for my rimfire more but it was an awesome rifle and if I was restricted to FAC air I would have another like a shot.

After seeing that beauty think i may be swayed away from the rapid for my FAC. So many choices and so limited locally my local dealer only has two FAC Guns in both seem very expensive and the rapid he has got in looks crazy wouldn't know if i should shoot it or just use it as an ornament

Do you know if that beauty can be set up for a variable power i have seen some rapids that from the turn of a alan key can go back down to 12 i am after something like that as i will have to sell my sub ft 12 air rifle to afford the fac but would still like the option of lower power when i need to be cautious of the area im shooting!

Nice looking rifle. I have a FAC slot coming up in .25 so may have to look at those.
