    One for the Webley experts.....

    Thinking back hard (and it IS getting harder)......I am sure that at the age of 12-13, (1969-70)....I am 100% positive that that my Webley pellets came in the style of tin at the bottom of this group...ie. the round green or orange/white jobbies. I even remember sending off my coupons for my badge (although what happened to that, or the Mk3 I had a couple of years later.....gawd knows)

    Anyway.....I have a dated advert from 1969 that shows this style of tin, but does anyone know exactly when they replaced the oblong tins (also shown in pic?).

    Smile webley tins

    the oblong tins gave way to the round ones to which you refer in the mid 1960s. your memory was therefore quite correct.;

    They'd be far nicer if they were caressing BSA Light Patterns .
