    HFT Butt Pad Rule

I have a HW100KT .22 with an Anschutz 4765 and corisponding guide plate for wooden stock.

I would like to shoot HFT rather than FT but I've been told at my local club the Butt Hook is not alowed. Fair enough rules are rules but everything else other than a standard buttpad seems a bit of a grey area (well to me anyway)

Can I just loose the hook and buy/have made a lower pad thingy put in its place?

Its not hard to take unit off the buttplate but a bit uncomfortable if thats allowed or can you get a more traditional pad to fit the Anchutz plate?

I dont really want to be scewing and unscrewind the plate on and off each time.

I will eventually buy a AA S400.177 or something dedicated to HFT next year but want my hw100 to shoot it now

Keep your HW and see if a butt plate from another target rifle fits...MPR?....there are a few!
