    BARPC Summer Sizzler Results

To those who travelled near and far today to attend the 2010 Summer Sizzler, thank you for your effort and company. We hope you enjoyed our tradditional classic HFT course and the challenges it gave.

It was great to see both our usual suporters and those who ventured from further afield.

Although only 50 shots this year, our course builders under the guidance of Neil Scripps, our outdoor secretary, did a sterling job.

Thanks also to Zoe and Bryn for the stats and booking in.

Congratulations Bob on your Recoiling win-about blody time

Next year-please avoid a clash with a Sussex Interclub round-there are many of us who would love to have shot today......

    Hi Graham

What are you trying to say

Yep, had a good result today although failing to set the parallax to the usual setting before the start made the close shots a bit of a pain

There were some great scores as you can see, especially as this was a typical BARPC course with all targets between 7-45 yards "except those that weren't" and a fair smattering of undergrowth to negotiate

I've been in touch with Richard already to see what we can do to avoid a clash and we'll advise when we can. As you know, we'd like to pop down and shoot a couple of the Sussex venues ourselves at somepoint.

BARPC "Type" courses are what the Sussex shooters negotiate day in / day out Lots of the lads today were lamenting a lost opportunity to show you CSFTA types how to shoot

Don't be a stranger Mr Ward-get your dates set and we wont

Yup, Bob and I have been talking and we will do everything we can to avoid another clash.

I've always been a great fan of the Popham courses and venue, there were just too many shoots to avoid clashes with everything and we had some last minute complications which forced us to go with the dates we had this year.

We shall overcome! It would be great for us Sussex types to get over to Hogland and give you lot a lesson in how it should be done
