    Hi from Hungary

    Hello guys!

My name is Istvan and I am typing and reading your forums from Szarvas, Hungary. I am interested in the airgun shooting, mostly about the Field Target.
I've heard a lot of good feedbacks about this site, and would like to be part of this great family!

    All the best,
    Istvan

What are the laws on airguns (or guns in general) in Hungary? Is there a power limit? Can you hunt?

    Thanks!

Thanks for all your warm welcome!

Let me answer all your questions in chronological order:

To RobF: no, I am not shooting on the worlds, I am not enough experienced, but will definately go there and say hello to most of the shooters

To barrel: weather was not so nice until now, it had lots of rain and a little bit cold over the night, but from this Monday it is getting better. Ususally around 20 Celcius during the day and about 10 at night.

To Marci: I am interested in the FT part, not really on the HFT, but definately good to have more and more friends from this sport. When do you plan to move back?

To Prewar: law is strict here for airguns. The power limit is 7.5J (approx 5.5 ft/lbs) for the guns without special permit. We can have stornger airguns, but a special permit required from the national police. It requires training, club membership, qualification competitions and more... The hunting with airguns are forbidden here.

And thank you so much for the rest of the folks as well, for the welcome and the nice words!

I am happy to answer all the questions I could......
