    Talking Oakie's....The Definition

    News just in,the term 'Oakie's' has finally been found....here ,the first term says it all really lol....just kidding wit ya ....

    Isn't the internet a wonderful thing. If you Google Buxted it brings up this on the Wikipedia site:

    "The origin of the name Buxted comes from the Saxon Bochs stede (place of the beeches)"

    Sorry to disappoint you but due to illness I do not do the inter club shoots, but I may have to consider it

    As for not being able to find us on Wiki, perhaps you should get some kids to show you how to use the PC as it only took me seconds to find us.

    PS, If you would like us to read all your "comments" then please have a bit more sense than to choose a white font against a white background. Again ask some kids to show you how !!!

    Sincerely sorry to learn that illness is curbing your enjoyment Musky ol' chap.

    The problem wasn't being able to find an Oakie entry on Wiki unlike Buxted's, the problem was finding a reference to Mile Oak with anything of interest in it ..

    ..... as aunty says, we'll only ever grow up once, why should kids have all the fun? ...until then I reserve the right to have a puerile poke at any exposed Oakie who pops his pate above the parapet ...
