For Sale - BSA Meteor Mk2 .177 VGC

For Sale: BSA Meteor - number NA08810 which I believe denotes it as a Mk2 .177 from 1962-1966. I don't know much about air rifles and therefore I'm going to describe it carefully and send lots of pictures to anyone that pms me their email address as well as linking them below.

Overall I'd say the rifle is in very good condition for its age with minor marks [scratches and dents as pictured] only on the stock and no cracks or serious scratches. The stock is plan [i.e. no grooving or engraving] and the end of the butt is grooved. The metalwork is very clean and the finish is intact apart from some marks which look to be caused by the gun being cocked and marked from someone’s wedding ring or something.

Both fore and rear metal sights are present and intact and it is also fitted with a BSA Scope which is marked -made in England- non zoom and looks to be original to the age of the rifle. I have tested it with a few pellets and it seems to be in full working order and is capable of good accurate shots at 15m [gardens not big enough to test over any greater distance!]

I believe it to be totally original and therefore no doubt it could do with some service work/seals etc. It is stored in a brown nylon, fleecy lined gun case.

SOLD to Delbenjosh pending the normal - thanks

Can I ask what the asking price was for reference for other members please, as has been deleted. Your call, but am sure it would help others greatly?
