I have seen only a couple of these, one years ago at a gunshop in the 70's I think, when there was a fuss about "gas operated" weapons, and so the shop owner informed me the boxed example he had in the store room was un-saleable (except maybe on a FAC)
I saw another at a gun show last year, in a sorry state whilst working abroad. I would imagine they are thin on the ground over here, so for anyone who has not seen one up close, an excellent test and appraisal here
.

Hi
The man that knows more about these fantastic pistols is Laurie Amatruda and can repair and modify, including new seals.
You can still pick these up in the States for around 200 dollars in good condition and full working order and sometimes boxed.
I rate these on par with the Crosman 600 as a collectors item.
You never know Laurie may have one or two laying about but the price may be high, as they or it will be as new or better.
Richard
Mr. A certainly had one of these as he showed me how to operate one he had for sale at Bisley a few years ago.
It was complicated but he rated it and with hindsight I should have bought it.
Really well made but not your first co2 pistol I think!
Here you go .

Not exactly cheap but I guess the build quality is there although it looks to me like some bizarre and horrible Frankenstein P O8 ....
I think I will keep my £400 for something else .

Look in "S" section.
A thing about these pistols. The pot metal they are mostly made from doesn't age well.It crumbles very easily.Trev
Now THIS is what a Luger SHOULD look like !!

If you ever get offered one make sure its in good working order, fixing them is not a big deal provided you can get them apart, I have had numerous ones for repair that have deteriorated inside that can cause quite a problem.
The back strap is very prone to breaking and near on impossible to repair, as Trevor states they are made of Monkey metal!
Did somebody say £400.00 for one?
Whatever you do don't drop it!
If it's not broke don"t fix it!
