Neither have I, but earlier this year JC Militaria advertised one similarly. Perhaps Troubledshooter can advise. Your view David?

Bargain that one in the link, just imagine how much it would be un-numbered like yours.

It looks like third version one so post 1935.
I'd say £300 if it is all there.

Tut tut, Peter, commenting on JC Militaria's sales threads now are we? Surely you're not suggesting nearly £700 is too high for a tidy Mk2 Service?

This is not the one I`m referring to. About 3-4 months ago they advertised one with no serial no. on the trigger guard, I can`t remember what they asked for it though.

The trigger block serial number has either been omitted at time of manufacture, or the trigger block has been replaced at some time.
I have, very occasionally, found this before, and I know of one boxed example that has obviously been numbered by other than Webley, as the font and spacing used are definitely not Webley.
Slug-Gun may have more information on this, but I know of no other reasons.
The rifle in question appears to be a complete good used example, with very little, if any, original finish remaining.
The crack on the underside of the stock is a fairly common occurrence, and is caused by moisture on the stock locating peg causing it to rust and expand, thus splitting the stock.
    I would estimate it's value at £250 - £300
