Hi to all,
Not being too big headed, We thought yesterday was a great day had by all!
To start with, a big thanks to all that helped set up and especially to Bob, our
own strong man who virtually single handedly pushed the van out of the mud. with a little help from wee Ryan.
We were lucky with the weather, big thanks to Chris and Bob who were
responsible for the course, any complaints, see them! Thanks to all the
other chaps who helped set up especially Uncle Albert.
And now for the good bits, the food was great today, it must of been as it all got eaten up! Dr Indie supplied us with a big pot of his homemade chilli, which went down extremely well with everyone. The chicken curry disappeared quite well too, well done to Mrs tony. And not forgetting Dave's Spary's bunny burgers which hopped out of the pan. Then we had the results of todays
fun shoot, with a twist, i.e the twist was:- everyone had to pick a number
out of the hat and the number that was picked out was deducted from their
combined score as the comp was done in pairs, which made it very
interesting as one pot had high numbers and the other, low, and it was down to Tony who picked out of which one! So we had some surprised winners.
Then we had the trophy presentation and finished up with our world famous raffle! Which we both hope everyone enjoyed.
So here are the results of the fun shoot:-

let the good times flow
Many thanks to everyone who staged this event. A very testing course, owing to the wind. Shame about the rain but at least most shooters had completed the course before the downpour. Thanks for the pistol medal. Must do better in the rifle events next year! Just a thought: if we now need to shoot the course twice to compete in both PCP and Springer categories, won't it make it very late for the organisers when the course is taken down?

Yes it was, but everybody seems to have forgotten about that agent of Satan Dr Indie and his " Chocolate Covered Chilli's ".
Let loose a little bit of Hellfire and Brimstone on your taste buds why don't you
There they were looking all nice and choclatey, " I'm going to have that big one there, yes that one, it's got more chocolate on it than all the rest "
Chomp, chew, mmmmm really really nice. Second bite " bloody hell "
Mouth on fire.
Really on fire.
Temporary speech loss.
Heavy perspiration
Head blown off
Help Help
Two cans of Tango and we are just about sorted.
Apart from that the food was great.
But above all else, great day, great company, great fun.
I need to practice more to have more lucky shots.

What a great day, even though I spent a lot of it slaving over a hot pan. Those chocky chillies were great. Cleared the sinuses out a treat. What's this bull about them being too strong? I had about 5 of them, Very tasty. No fall out zone established the following morning either.
An interesting comp. I blame my partner for pulling out that number. Look forward to the coming season.
