Enjoyed that today, apart from a '0' on the 10(?) yd mini,for not closing my bolt
That breeze was almost as tricky as a MAD breeze.....

A rather windy day coupled with some tricky reducers had a few of us scratching our heads A few of the springer guys decided to dust of their PCP'S for a change and they tended to show the rest of us how to shoot one

If you know how many guns you’ve got, you haven’t got enough.

Yay!
Dads done a double!
* First Personal Best with a .22
* First Kibby round win!
Having suffered a *technical malfunction* on his Mk.3 that was causing it to shoot off in the region of 8" he was left with little choice... mope about while the rest of us shot or have a try with my .22 S410.
To be fair I did give him an option of two rifles,- Dan had brought back my Feinwerkbau 127 Sport so that was on hand for him too.
Yep, thats a .22 as well.
So, in something of a trial by fire Dad has joined that most exclusive of clubs.
Brick-lobber-are-us.
His murmurings of confusion as he tried to make sense of my SR6 reticule turned to glee as the targets started falling. And he seemed fascinated at the fact you can pretty much watch the pellet for the entire duration of its flight!
A cracking course with some blooming tricky reducers; that rabbit under the log had me confused as I hadn't realised it had a mini-kill in the centre of the larger kill zone. It went down... I think I stunned it into submission
Managed a resounding donut on that 55yd rabbit.
That was Dads 3rd shot....
... and he got it.
Went a bit quiet after that.
Hey Hey ... first time in .22 and take 1st place ... First in Class... Gold standard no less (I think).
Pity I was the only entrant ......
MK3 now functioning as it should so normal mediocre service will resume.
Cheers, Phil
Excellent day, and a great course,
Was shooting my elderly (unlike me) BSA Ultra as my all singing Falcon died on Thursday (Bugger)
Shot round with Gary Brown and Tony a newbie who shot a stunning 46 even with all the wind ( I Hate Him Already )
Commiserated with Phil Russel on having to shoot .22 for the first time whilst munching way too much cholesterol only to find he beat me anyway the
Git!
BARSKETT!
