It was blinking hard - aiming miles off into the wide blue younder and still getting shots clinging onto the downwind edge of the plate, close shots with logs and a mesh to catch the pellet in its trajectory, more foliage than you could shake a stick at, long unsupported standers & kneelers out in the field where it was blowing a hoolie...etc etc
