and me contributing on most of them i thought you might like to see my favorite TOP GUN IN THIS PICTURE http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/z...51/guns005.jpg

i bought it from JEANS MILITARY MEMORIES of great harwood /I.J. will remember jean
it cost me £90 and didnt shoot as the piston seal had disintegrated (as they tend to ) i slimmed down the forend and tuned it myself / its a 124 but with a 22 barrel and shoots lovely, since this picture i have shortened the barrel and fitted a theoben vortex silencer
i will have this gun for a LONG time

There was a fashion for skinny-maling-king fore-ends in the early 1980s, yours looks really very nice and infact better than the standard profile. How does she shoot?

Nice pictures. Just out of interest, why did you alter the woodwork. Was it personal preference for grip or just aesthetic?

Nice looking gun Mally. Did accuracy suffer at all when you shortened the barrel? I know the tuners in the '80s used to cut them at the breech end to preserve the choke, although I read somewhere that it's easys enough to re-choke the barrel if you know what you're doing.
