Tiz a Meteor mate --- made with rear sights fitted to the very back of the action, and marketed to the Air and Army Cadet Corps during the 1970s.

Reading this may explain why at a militaria fair a couple of years back, on a stand filled with pyros, blanks, drill rounds and other surplus..a guy had a cardboard box with one layer left of the pellets shown on the extreme right of this photo......They are 70's / 80's style graphics on the stick-on label, but a plastic container with a "window" exposed by twisting the lid......The seller said they came from a military dispersal source, as did all his stuff....So did Eley supply pellets to the cadet forces?......I have never seen this container anywhere else, and it would make sense if the CCF/ATC were using Meteors?

Any ex cadets on here to shed some light???
