    Shepreth hft results 31-10-10

    Great turnout - thanks for coming everyone and hope you enjoyed it!

    We made a couple of minor errors course setting due to our guru Mark not bein' able to be there, but otherwise it was UKAHFT rules - honest!: But everyone I spoke to said they enjoyed themselves and the rain mostly kept off apart from the odd small shower (the rain I mean - I know we're an odd shower!)

    Very enjoyable day today and great to have shot round with Rog , well done mate. Five minutes after I left it threw it down , so nice timing Chris

    Its not the first time that bloody Bentley has got in the way of me getting a gold and im sure its not the last
    well done Roger its all down to who can take the pressure of a shot off and your as cool as a cucumber

    Thanks for all the comments, the Sheppy crew did a good job given the difficult circumstances and put out a challenging course, well done lads.

    Of course I'd like to give my best wishes to Mark and his family too. I think everybody's thoughts were with you yesterday as we shot round.

    Also well done to Deeksy, who shot an awesome round considering he hasn't been shooting comps for some time. Next time buddy

    Someone left a shooting cushion behind - it was thought perhaps someone from Hemel Hempstead? It's safe in the office caravan and will still be there next time if its owner would like to reclaim it.

    Thanks for the kind words about the course - I know it was an interesting one and we'll get it even better next time!

    Now if I'd only shot the first half as well as I did the second half - ah well - there's always next time!

    And special thanks to Sally for looking after the teas and coffees for us!
