    Looks like my shooting partner didn't hand our scores in as I have just found them in my score card case

    Looks like you lot had fun, spent the day with my Nephew and he has never shot before (guns bigger than him'...He beat me hands down!....)

    Heineken Tin at 56yds...slight breeze...i said "Hit the picture of a crown..just aim off sligh".....DING..

    "It was on target"
    "Well you got the tin but you need to take ya time!"

    Trundle over the 56yds to check it out...

    "OOh! look, there is a hole right through the crown....why couldn't you hit it Uncle Mike??"
    The rest is not for public ears, nor in the best interest of my street cred!

    Could someone explain the scoring to me?

    I have looked at it for 2 hours now and my head hurts...

    If you'd gone to the shoot you would know how it works:

    20 shots are UKAHFT specc'ed- Pretty much prone.

    20 shots are kneeling.

    20 shots are standing.

    Amongst the UKAHFT spec shots are the standard number of designated positions (Standing only, etc..). If Peg 12 was a stander or kneeler, you decide how you'll take it as your UKAHFT scoring shot/position. You then take two more shots in prone and kneeling/prone* (*depends on which you chose as your UKAHFT shot).

    On your score card you have your UKAHFT score (eg. Andy scored 38), your Option Two score (Andy scored 37) and Option Three score (Andy scored 32).

    I summed up the wailing results as UKAHFT score and Total score. Mentioning option 2 & 3 scores as well is less relevant as any one of those who shot could have taken any of the positions (unless a UKAHFT designated position) in any scoring slot on the score card. If a shooter can remember which position was taken for each shot then, fair enough, they do have relevance.
