    Valuation on old hw venom

    hi all just looking for a price for a old hw80k venom in .177 what i took in part ex for my pro sport the serial number is 1168787 and the condition is about 98% for the bluing and the stock is about the same thanks joe

    Hi,hard to give an accurate value without a pic but at this moment in time i would say approx £500

    Witout pics it's difficult, what's the level of tune, stock etc?

    Standard Venom action in standard stock, 275. Lazaglide and cosemtics in standard stock, 350. Above plus Venom stock, 450. Absolute mint example of all of the above, 500.

    Nice...

    ... Can't see any stickers or evidence that it's a Venom which will be an issue for some unless there's some supporting paper work (or I missed it )

    If a Venom, and I have no reason to believe not, then £350 to £400 IMHO

    Really nice figured stock, not mint but near enough, .177 is the best calibre and slimline moderator. All in all a very desirable rifle. Venum paperwork helps but if it shoots smooth and sweet then £400 is about right imho.

    Its a lovely 80 for sure.........perhaps when its finished its 'nap' it could be woken up and fired a few times....

    If you took it in part x for a Prosport i.e. with cash your way too, then I think you got a hell of a deal unless your Prosport was non-standard in some way - a brand new Walnut stocked Prosport is less than £500.
