Anyone ever decide to go "all manual"?

I'm not giving up my CO2 Smith and I'm not recommending anyone give up any guns of theirs: but with the cost and hassle of C02, batteries, green gas, air tanks etc., I was just wondering whether any of you decided to stick entirely with guns that can be operated without any external power source: springers and SSP's and pump-ups?

Well it is a much less frenetic hobby with a pump up etc. You have time to take in the scenery and dont use many pellets.
Give me a mag and I have to empty it!

    Certainly not Jim!
I love my pump-ups and springers and already use a manual pump for my PCPs, but there's nothing for IPAS, plinking or PP like a CO2.
I am however considering a remote hose solution to run a CO2 pistol from the regulated Rohm cylinder I use for my CX-4 project

If I pump to fill the cylinder then what's the power source?

By "manual" - poor choice of terms - I meant, "not requiring anything other than performing a manual action on the gun itself", or better, "having no need for a device external to the gun".

A PCP-powered gun, requiring a bicycle pump / dive tank compressor, would not be "manual", as I'm using the term here.

I get around 200 shots @ 500fps from my Morini's lil' 'ol cylinder and if required just pump up with a stirrup pump later...

it came with 2 cylinders too, so 400 shots at a time and you're not knackered after the first 20 who the hell wants to do the 'manual' bit when you're tryin' to shoot something....(not a good combo...)
