Is the Drozd a rifle or pistol?

I'm very thinking of purchasing one of these guns and heavily moding it so that it can be used for ratting.

Due to power restrictions is a pistol or rifle, I suppose I could uprate the power to nearer to legal limits.

I'm afraid the Steyr is very far out of my price range,
I'm thinking about bulk filling the drozd and a barrel extension.

The bigger mag on the drozd will be a big help - nothin quite like the "bang bang bang bang bang - click..." of a 5 shot clip emptying with a rat making for your trouser legs

Not sure what the accuracy of the drozd is like though? IIRC it's a copper BB jobby so I'd take care to ensure the accuracy is there before you start - lead BBs might help?

You can modify they drozd to what ever you want. If you short circuit the switch you can render it fully auto of 6 4 3 shots, at 450 500, 600 rpm. Be aware this is illegal in the UK, So I presume that you're in the US people have done crazy things with the Drozd, I'm a Drozd owner too.
For more power in FT/LB use Lead Ball Bearings
For more Speed and sparks on concrete use Copper steel bb's.

If you render it fully auto it's a rifle I would say
Otherwise it's a really big pistol
