I'm new to the forum, hello all.

I'm thinking of joining a local gun club to do some air rifle target shooting.

I'm in my 40s and can remember with a passion using a old BSA rifle in my early teens, shooting cans and the like.

My son is in the army (3 rifles) just back from a tour of Afgan (Sangin) and came home with an air rifle last week saying lets do some shooting! Calm down son your not in Sangin now with your SA80!!! I said.

We have a 200ft garden that backs onto mainly unused woodland, so we should be safe to do a bit of practice in the garden and if I get the bug me and a friend might look for a local club.

My main hobies are the usual, fishing/golf/footbal/cars and then the Wife!

All i need to do is find a cheap (for now) rifle to see if i get the bug.
