I bought a bsa supersport .22. I have had no probs with it. It is a nice light rifle and hits with full power or be be it 11.5. ( dependent on pellets). The recoil is noticable yet gratifying.
Hi! My name is Jim and I am new to this forum.
I am interested in purchasing a magnum springer. After reviewing and comparing specs. and user reviews, the BSA Super Sport with a BSA 3-12 x 40 scope is what shakes out. I would be using the gun for field targets, varmint control and possibly limited squirrel hunting. I have compared RWS, Gamo, Beeman and BSA. I understand that Gamo bought-out BSA, but the Gamo falls short of the BSA in the reviews. My second choice would be a RWS 36 or 350. I like the lighter weight of the BSA and user reviews are almost a consistent 10.
BSA rifles seem to have limited distribution. I have only found a few web sites that sell them in the USA and no local retail sellers.
I would be interested in comments on my selection.
Thank you.

Go for the Beeman R9 instead.
Better triggerunit and better overall quality.
Easier to shoot accuratly then a Supersport in the same powerlevel.
The R9 also have arrestorholes in the reciver and are easier to work with.
What is your opinion of the RWS 350? Correction, I mean the model 54 recoiless?

I have only owned a RWS 52 - a powerful howitzer...
Nowadays I pick a PCP when I need that kind of ME.
Powerful springers are difficult to shoot accuratly.
