Hi all as a new member i would appreciate some imformation regarding the re-charging of a air arm s 400.Instead of me purchasing an air cylinder, would it not be possible to recharge via a portable air compresor with a 10 litre tank to which i already own. thanks.

Welcome,

As far as I can tell, with knowing the type of compressor, you will have a few issues.

1. Airguns charging needs to be done with dry air, any moisture will make the working fail at a point in the future.
2. Compressor needs to up to about 200bar (3000psi) and I am sure that the small size compressor will go that high.

I am sure there may be some more but the learned friends on here will tell you more.
