    Advice on 10m pistol!

    Hi All,

A quick question in regards to the above, Im getting back into 10m pistol after a very long break and was wondering how a comp would go (I know its something like 60 shots in 105min for men) but I cant remember how many shots per card it is?

I know what I want to type but I cant get it to sound right so hopefully someone out there will understand what I mean

    Thanks in advance

    That is the usual format.

Shots per card depends on the organiser, i've shot 1 or 2 shots per card in competition, 3 or 5 per card in the postal competitions i'm in. The bigger comps use electronic targets now, i've never shot on them.

    comps

For shoulder to shoulder comps you usually get 10 minutes prep time during which you can set up and dry fire. You then have 105 minutes for unlimited sighters plus 60 competition shots. You get a warning at 10 5 and 1 minues left. Nowerdays its usually 2 shots per card on paper targets (with 4 sighter cards) or electronic targets at the bigger comps
