    AR5 manual

    Hi

I have bought AR5s. This is really excellent airgun.
Unfortunatelly there was no manual together with this rifle.
Because of this is my first Ripley I don't know some details about keeping it in the right way, maintanace, regulations, spare part list etc.
I tried to find sth on the web - I couldn't get such info.
Could you give me some links to such informations or maybe sb has already such handbook (f.e. in pdf format) and can email me ?

    Cheers

Give them a call on 01773 748353 and ask them to send you a copy of the manual.

Ripley don't normally produce a handbook/manual with their guns, you usually just get a trigger adjustment diagram and a charge pressure/shots per charge graph. I doubt you'll find a parts list or diagram anywhere on the web.

    Thanks
I didn't tell that it is secondhand rifle. I haven't got even trigger adjustment diagram.
I will call them with this request.
BTW For me will be interesting some simple info regarding :
    - no of shots with stable energy.
    - max pressure of air that it will operate - is it 150,200, ???? bar ?
    - any points of oil dropping, changing o-rings etc.

Max pressure should be stamped on it somewhere around the breech block.

I'll have a look if I still have a trigger diagram, I'll mail it to you if I have.

It will be very glad - if you will find this diagram and email me
It is stamped 3500 psi. Means aprox. 240 bar.
Is it normal filling operational pressure ?

I used to fill my Ripleys to 200bar, 240 is the max filling pressure but you don't have to fill to 240.

Can't find the trigger diagram but have found the single sheet leaflet that came with my XL1.

    Under 'Guncare' it reads -
"Great effort has been put into the finish of the Ripley rifle, always wipe down after use with a silicone impregnated cloth. DANGER - DO NOT lubricate your Ripley rifle with gun oil. During assembly all moving parts are assembled using special grease to protect and lubricate."

The only maintenance I had to do on my Ripleys was a smear of Moly grease on the bolt shaft and a very small amount of 'o' ring grease on the breech seal on the end of the bolt.
