    Maintenance of Sig p226

    I asked this about my Beretta a while ago but what do I need to maintain my 226 apart from pellgun oil?

    Does the slide need lube? To the internal like the trigger mechanism need greased?

    Or are there any other maintenance issues?

    I would just keep all moving parts oiled regularly with a good gun oil. Use an old soft cloth to wipe it over afterwards and then over time this will become impregnated with the oil and keep your gun finely coated with oil to protect it against the elements.
