    Webley Service Barrel

There is a barrel up for auction on the bay, the seller has it listed as a Service Mk 2, you can just see it stamped on the barrel in the second photo, I am sure its from a Hawk Mk1, what do you on here think, were they used on the later Service Mk2 ?

Hmmm...someone's going to be upset when they unwrap that parcel...

    Hi Mate, They are, !
    I advertised a HW35 Barrel on here £30 posted , I was offered £20 posted , One sold on the " Bay " for £48 + Post !

I also offered a HW 80 Barrel on here for £30 posted,
One sold on the " Bay " ( It was .20 + Mint ) for £98 At my last looking + post, I still have them ! But I have put them & most of my gear in storage , Spares allways sell.

It would seem the best way to get the best price is to break them ,
I know this has been said before ,
There are some bargains on there though, I got a Vulcan stock ( Sold the gun before it came Ha ha, ) for £17 posted , & a Sharp Innova front sight complete with shroud for £10 posted ! Just a thought ! Ged.

I stand corrected Ged...I thought actual guns &/or barrels were excluded from the bay..

Seems that I am not the only one who wrote to him. He now is continuing so sell saying he knows nothing about them.
I would have thought that Service Mk2 owners would know enough not to buy this after looking at the 'photo.
There have been 4 bids - possibly friends bumping the price.
