A Webley sidelever in the hands of a girl!!

    Hi,
just to let everyone know that a rifle made by GGGR is deadly accurate...in the hands of a girl! The rifle is a Viscount with a shortened barrel and a tiger stripe stock all completed by the wizard GGGR himself.
As can be seen the rifle is very pointable and accurate...maybe I'm old fashioned but its like finding out that your girlfriend can ride a motorbike better than you can or box better...maybe women shouldnt shoot!

Knowing what the rifle was like before Guy got it (from me), great to see that it's still doing well and in good hands

Your right Guy...one is going to be fitted...but you know how long it takes me to get around to these things...currently wrapping red bobs rifle in christmas paper! Oh well you should be rightly proud of your handiwork the rifle is VERY accurate.

I know what you mean, when i used to be an avid angler, the missus used to come with me so we got her a licence and i used to set her up to fish...

She started getting better fish than me so she had to stop coming with me

They're smashing pics, it looks like a lovely old sidelever too

    Cheers, John

My Mum hated guns and as a ten year old kid I had no chance of owning an airgun or shooting at the school smallbore range. I got her to take me to Billy Mannings Fair in Southsea where I knew (in those days) they had a shooting gallery with live .22 pump action Brownings! I managed to persuade her to have a go shooting bottles. Couldn't keep her off them! Within 3 years she was shooting for the England Ladies Team and held a few Bisley marksman's badges. Needless to say I had no more trouble getting into shooting
