    Cambridge HFT

As people may or may not be aware Shepreth Airgun Club will have its final shoot on Sunday 19th December due to the guys that started it not having the time to carry on running it any longer. The club will be reincarnated under a new name called

    Cambridge HFT Airgun Club

    otherwise known as

    Cambridge HFT

A new committee headed by myself and a wonderful team of people will do our best to carry on running the club and try and improve the club. We have a busy time ahead of us as none of us have run an airgun club before but I am sure we will do the club justice.
We have a forum up and running

    http://www.cambridgehft.co.uk

    E-Mail cambridgehft@gmail.com

but it is a very new thing to us so please be patient if it goes wrong. A website will happen at some point (when we can find someone with the knowledge).
All shoots will be advertised on

    http://shooting-the-breeze.com/

    http://www.airgunbbs.com/

    as will club results.
The new committee welcomes everyone to come and shoot and will be implementing a few new idea's as the year goes on.
The new committee would just like to say a big thankyou for the start given to it by SAGC founders in donating all club assets and look forward to seeing them at future shoots.

All we need now is a club from Oxford to challenge you to a boat race
Well done Matt-I am sure the club is in safe hands and will maintain that unique Shepreth atmosphere-a laid back day out with good mates, flattening tin chickens, a bit of grub and lots of good natured p.iss taking
    Never go off half cocked....

now that would be funny, HFT shooting from a boat would really test your windage

lol you couldnt really have a better start to a new club as you already have a HUGE member base, and one of the best reputations in the area

Best of luck to you all. I have always enjoyed coming to Shepreth and I'm sure I will enjoy it under "da noo management".

Graham summed it up perfectly, especially the piss-taking Long may it continue.

Life goes on. People come and go. All of us at TH-W wish the new club and committee all the very best for the future. You are building on a very sound foundation so I have every reason to believe that the club will easily manage the transition.

The very best of luck and I hope to see you soon.
