I used to have one of them 20 years ago, until some scrote swiped it

Can't remember much about it other than it looked gorgeous, had a wonderfull trigger and was a bit limp.

I know nostalgia isn't what it used to be, but any chance of a piccy?

    Hi philip'

the original mod' 10 is a difficult & complex pistol to strip & does require some special tools you can make them yourself though' with a bit of time & effort'
but if you are not 100% sure of your abillity to take this pistol to bits then dont' its trigger mech' alone is very complex & the giss contra recoil system is also complex.
best bet is take it to a gun shop who have experiance with the original giss contra recoilless piston system.

Ordered the seals from Chambers yesterday and stripped the pistol last night. What was left of the piston seal was literally stuck to the front of the cylinder Spent a happy time cleaning everything up ready for the parts to arrive.Bits arrived first thing this morning - as always fantastic service from Chambers - and now look forward to putting it back together and see how it performs .Will post pictures when complete
