Good morning gents and a merry Christmas to you all. Yesterday I dropped onto a used 7 litre 300 bar cylinder for the right sort of money so I bought it to make life a lot easier filling my recently purchased R10 ( superb gun, well mine appears to be anyway). The pump was killing me. The bottle was tested in November 2010 so is good for the next 5 years.
Anyway, my question is: Approximately how many fills could I expect to get before the bottle equalizes? I have not allowed the pressure in the buddy bottle to fall below 130 bar, so realisticly (sp) I will never be filling from empty. Fill pressure of the buddy bottle is 232 bar. I was tempted to but a new 12 litre bottle but was put off due to the weight of the thing and limited storage space.
Many thanks in advance for your replies.
Paul

There's a calculator here.
Happy Shooting!!
Paul.
In theory about 13 or 14 fills to 232 bar.
If you are happy to accept 220 bar then the number of fills goes out to 20. If you could manage with 200 bar which would still give you a good number of shots then you will get more than 30 fills out of it.
I'm running off the latest version of the calculator in the link, it's beta testing now.![]()
Brilliant, Thank you.
