Many years ago when we had a larger garden I used to regularly nail a 1.5 ltre drink bottle at 40 yards with my BSA 240 - as long as I aimed about 2½ foot higher than normal

With a 240 that is good shooting!
Dont have to aim too high with the Rohm- about half an inch above frontsight.

I might of exaggerated a bit - but from memory it was more like a foot above than an inch.

With a HW 45 in .22 flavour raise the barrel until the the bottom of the front sight pillar is level with the top edge of the rearsight,

This will give fifty yards dead on, no probs,

Baldee here on the BBS was decking tin chickens with his Allecto at 42 yards over open sights at the Kibby one afternoon last year, excellent shooting

    Lightbulb 25 Litre

Damn good shooting with open sights...I'd need a 25 litre bean tin at 55 yards!!!

Baikal 46 M would not do it on Sunday.
Very accurate at 10M and fine at 20 yds but not the legs for 55 yds.
I have a lot of pistols so this could go on for some time
