I have owned many scopes over the years be it Swaro, Kahles, S&B, Zeiss Leup and others.
I traded in my Kahles 4.5-18 for a Swaro Z6 3-18x50 and oh boy what a difference.
The Z6 is easy to use with exceptionally clear optics. Looking at a 1/4 inch target at 100 yards was crystal clear. The turrets click positively and are accurate when dialing in.
Even with the thin cross in the middle I was able to shoot accurately at night not losing the cross in the light.
I would have another in a heartbeat.
which would ya prefer or say is better
the s&b or the swarovski?
Z6i gets my vote everytime now, once you have looked through one you cant go back to anything else, the S&B are second choice and are also very good scopes
i have the 5-30x50 IR as i do a bit of target shooting and the glass is crystal clear at 30 mag.
I have a Z6i 2-12x50. It is very quick to target acquire as the field of view is so good. You especially notice this with lamp shy foxes as I can take a shot within 1 1/2 secs of the light being switched on. You do not have to search for your quarry. The tds reticle is good for distance shooting (highland reds) and very quick & easy to use.
I think the swaro scopes are well worth the money
moved from ill S&B Zenith to a Z6i and am more than a little impressed with the Z6i.
I want a Z6 5-30 very very much ....![]()
Marksmanship = Accuracy, Consistency, Observation and a little of The Force

Z6 is very good but so is the snb, swaro lends its self to hutting more and the snb is better for target twiddling.
bbs air
I've got a swaro 5-30x50ir for lamping and a 3-18x50 for the Nv I won't change either in a hurry, but I'll never get rid of my s&b either!
Had Z6i now for the last month or so.
Got a 5-30x50 BT and a 3-18x50 BT.
IMO better than Nightforce, Zeiss, S&B etc...
Might sell one of the above and get the 2.5-15x56 for my Sika stalking.
Can see myself moving away from these now as I don't think there is anything better![]()
I have had one of these scopes and cannot fault them.
I have a Z6i 5-30 on my Mannlicher .243 - bought it from Sportsman GC and they let me compare S&B, Zeiss and Nightforce in nearest equivalent specs before purchase. Swaro got for best edge to edge resolution (flat field of focus) and low light brightness - signs of good lenses and coatings. Just contemplating another fixed focal length spec for stalking.
What's the parallax range/min parallax on the 5-30?
.
I have the Z6 5-30x56 BT..... All I can say is FAB!! In fact I would like another one for my 30-06....
I've got a Z5 BT 3.5-18x44 on order and can't wait
