I've yet to try a Venom springer but I have a Theoben Sirocco which I am very pleased with, with the proper technique it can shoot as accurately as many pcp's and the recoil is very light and quick compared to a standard springer.

You should expect very smooth cocking and synthetic rings on his piston

Watchout though. You'll get a faster firing cycle if he's been short-stroked...

Cocking wasn't that hard to begin with..
Hmm, no short-stroking than, me thinks!
But Lazaglides are pretty greasy, aren't they?
