    webley nemsis

I used to have one of these, can you still get them secondhand? What sort of price are they? For a good working example?

    Thanks

They still appear from time to time in sales section. I picked up a brace last year, one of each calibre. They go for between £50 and £120 depending on condition. A very underrated pistol in my opinion. A change of trigger spring transforms it. (Std is WAY too strong)

They are good pistols. The only reason I never owned one is I hate the blocky grips, like gripping a yorkie bar! A clubmate had one with lovely custom walnut grips and that was a dream to shoot.

    Nemesis

One of the best pistols Webley ever made. More accurate that the Tempest/Hurricane being recoiless and mine averages 300fps with Superdome in .22

I paid 45 for mine boxed from a local dealer in 2009, prices seem to be rising but privately around 60 to 70 is about right, .177's usually fetch a little bit more and sell quicker than .22.

Black the most common but the silver/black version is available, early ones were plated later ones its just silver paint.

Also check the rearsights not broken as its easy to damage whilst cocking the pistol and pretty much unobtainable these days.

What are you doing on the pistol page Mr. Coburn?
And you own one as well!
I agree with what you say about the Nemesis. My local dealer has a .177 for £135

    Nemesis

Just like having a look occasionally Gingernut. In fact I am awaiting the arrival of a Umarex Makarov as I type this.

£135 for a Nemesis is a bit steep although I have seen a couple at dealers for £110, both were the std black model.

The one on the right here

The one on the left is the standard one and you can see how over engineered it is.
