    Think about it.

We had xmas, then a sunday, then two bank holidays, then we've had the same for the new year.

    'course there's a backlog

I am sure that there have been a few problems within the postal System over the Holiday

Joys of a Postal system that in most cases is run using Agency Staff
Who are often not fully trained or advised of there duties

And where report's are published daily of Staff Dumping and Stealing from the Postal System

Yes I still use it Daily as other Companies are far more expensive and not alway's a lot better

Post many items daily and has been several years since had to make a claim
Luck or just my good packing and labeling

I sent a cheque to someone last week, i think tues or wed, second class. The reciever hasn't got it yet, so yeah, must be a backlog. Hopefully i'll get an email saying the cheque arrived today.

    Still slow though.

I know of someone who once sent £600 CASH through the post - first class... not even recorded Or disguised - just shoved in a brown envelope

Yes, it did get there, by the grace of god

I got a Christmas card yesterday from the UK - posted on 9th December.

I think there's been a forelog as well!

    Hi Steve,

Your email appears to be bouncing my mail. I received your email saying that you'd received the letter. Do you have an alternative email address, or could you email me with a phone number, and I'll let you have the details.

    Cheers

    Robin

I got a letter from parcelforce today telling me they had a parcel for me (one I ordered from the states at the beginning of December) and thought had been lost. It turns out they have had it since 16/12 and I have even managed to arrange a new delivery from the states (tried to cancel today by E-Mail but dont know if I succeeded).
No wonder the GPO is not making a profit.

    Regard Rob

Ps anyone need any aluminum mags for a 22 AA S410 as I may have a couple spare soon
If I miss with the air rifle then there's always the shotgun as backup or now perhaps the .22 rimfire
