    'Pump up' guns.

Such as the Benjamin Sheridan series, Sharp Ace etc etc.

Does anyone know which one of these guns are full sized and approach (near) the 10ftlbs to full power mark.

    Thanks.

All three will reach full power (12fps) but the Sharp Ace stands head and shoulders above the rest - if you can find one at a reasonable price. Sharp Aces are much sought after. The Sheridan Model 'C' Silver and Blue Streak pump ups are perhaps the next in order of choice and can be picked up for considerably less than a Sharp Ace.

Thanks for the info. I've been trying to suss out a gun someone let me and a friend use as a kid. It was a pump up, quite well built / heavy and quite powerful. Could well be the Sharp.

Hello Mick, the bottom one looks quite like it but I can't be sure. This was about 22 years ago. Thanks for that though.

if it was heavy it wasnt a sheridan as they are as light as can be and ive owned about 10 of them in the past.

Yep, I bought a sheridan (from the chap in this thread as it happens ) and it definitely wasn't one of those. Which leaves the Sharp models.

Did any other company make these type of rifles chaps?

None of the above, but thanks for the suggestions. I think it must have been the Ace.

    Thanks for the help all.
