    Lead for casting bullets

Can you use the lead sold for divers as a source of metal for moulding your own bullets?

Why would you want to pay for premium priced lead when you can get all you want from the scarapyard or a roofing company at scrap prices

Indeed but where I am there arent any merchants. I did wonder about tyre shops but I think modern weights are lead free

The local diving shop had 1kg lead blocks for 7 euros.

There must be builders and suchlike who use lead. I would expect to pay around 1euro for a kilo of lead.

    Lead for casting

Wheel weights are lead free these days. scrap merchant is best option for scrap lead pipe or roof flashing. Or find a builder who does house rip outs and get him to keep the old lead pipes.

when smelting down be careful for and water still in pipes, it will explode.
