    Collectable Weihrauch HW 35's !

Some really nice ones about, sold a good un to Johnbaz recently !

They are I reckon, the original Weihrauch !

Are the Luxus and Export still available ?

Whats the chance of getting these through "Hull" ?

IIRC the Export version is still available in a 'watered down' version with 19" barrel and, from the photos Ive seen a very bland stock unlike the quality figured walnut examples of old.
Ive not seen a Luxus or Deluxe stock available for many years.

Oh no you dont. Its not a pleasant sight. I have a copy in my front window - it keeps the kids off my garden.

Its a excellent article on a classic air rifle.

    I would be similarly appreciative.

As IJ says, the Export seems still to be available. I emailed Hull Cartridge a while ago to see if the Export stocks are available separately, and it seems they are, I don't know how much they cost though.

    Hw35

The 35E is still available and any HW dealer should be able to order you one through Hull or their supplier.

My local dealer had one until recently. The stock is the same shape but much lighter in colour and the barrel is the std 19".

Walnut, according to the HW website.

Some pictures of a nice one on this thread.

I prefer the looks of the standard barrel over the original Export version. I've been pondering getting an Export stock for my carbine - sacrilege!

The Export stock and standard 19" barrel is more practical but the purist still require the classic 22" barrel.

Current spec is probably as good as your gonna get, not certain about the "spring chop" mullarky though ?

    Should I worry ?

Naah! I strip all my HWs, new or s/h, and relube and if necessary respring them. I give special attention to the [nylon/plastic] piston head and if its worn replace and re-size it. Nearly all the HWs are simple to strip. You just need care with the main spring pretension and good quality tools.

    HW 35 strip.
