'Tis with the greatest of pleasure that we announce the Sussex Interclub HFT dates for 2011. We reserve the right to alter them in case Mr Cock-up comes to stay

The Finest HFT you'll ever get, we look forward to another successful season, hope to see as many people as possible

These events are open to members of the hosting clubs plus visiting teams and individuals by agreement of the hosting club - but we are very unlikely turn anyone down, it would purely be if the numbers were likely to exceed a club's maximum

Out of interest, why do Buxted get the last shoot of the season every year, is it so Andy can try to set the course accordingly depending on the tables

It is more because some clubs can only host on certain dates so the process starts by clubs with restricted dates being allocated first. Then what happens is that all hell breaks loose and a million emails fly around the ether as we try to avoid clashes obstacles etc.

Dates are moved around and hair loss occurs in swathes, Charles Peal has put together a calendar (up to about version 18 or 19 I think) which lists SIHFt, UKAHFT and all the hosting club leagues, plus other major events eg the Worlds and the Basingstoke Bunny Bash, Summer Sizzler etc. I think it is published on the Oaks web site but we will try and find a more neutral host as well(none of which should require registration to access)

Long and short, I don't think it is deliberate, it is just the way it works out.
